A Great Time to go Solar in Summit County, Utah

Thinking about getting going solar in your home? Now is a great time to install solar panels and save with help from Mountain Town Community Solar. The program is a bulk-purchase solar program providing the following benefits:

  • Makes going solar easy and streamlined for Wasatch and Summit County residents
  • Significantly reduces up-front costs for residential solar installs through the power of bulk-purchasing
  • Ensures quality solar installations

Locally in Park City, Utah Summit Community Power Works (SCPW), a nonprofit organization spearheading Summit County’s quest for the $5 million Georgetown University energy prize, is preparing to launch a solar program for Summit and Wasatch County residents. As part of the organization’s initiative to reduce the community’s energy consumption and claim the prize, SCPW has partnered with Utah Clean Energy to administer the new program: Mountain Town Community Solar.  Residents can learn more about solar installation and get the best prices on installation by becoming involved with SCPW.
